patience…

As surgery gets closer and closer, less than 11 days at the time of writing this I have to take time remind myself that patience is the only thing that will get me through this and accomplish the end goal of this recovery.

Not being a useless, one legged sack of shit.

I am coming up to 5 weeks since the injury. With time the pain goes away with the swelling, but the urge to push decrepit knee to the limits are starting to get to me. On Friday, I rode a stationary bike for 30 minutes harder and faster than I had previously and I paid the price.

My knee ballooned up and became almost as immobile as it was the first two weeks after the injury. I have to remind myself to slow down, wait for surgery and take it one, step at a time.

I have to thank all my family and friends for the support.

thanks for taking the time to read this.

share it if you enjoyed!

cheers,

Ian
