day 37

Good morning!

Been a busy week since my last post. Always a struggle finding time to spew my inner thoughts and experiences onto the interweb.

Me and my new ACL spent our one month anniversary at work together. So far so good, we seem to be getting along. It has happily filled the role of my previous ACL which failed miserably on me.

I’m walking like a boss to and from work. We amped up the exercises in physiotherapy yesterday. Hamstring curls, full range of motion squats, calf raises all have been reintroduced and it feels great!

I can now easily make it up stairs, coming back down is still a bit of struggle as I try to entice my right quad to carry the weight. I would give it another two weeks and I should be no longer needing the services of the elevator in my building.

Snow! Scary stuff snow is. I’m sure my knee can handle walking on the snow.. but I’m just paranoid of slipping and tearing my knee apart again.

Anyhow, it’s been 5 weeks since my surgery (almost). Continuing to make progress, not feeling like quite as big of a useless sack.

Thanks for reading!
